Abstract A MOSFETs switching times calculation method for the known modulation strategy bidirectional buck + boost DC-DC converter is presented. former low-loss, constant-frequency based on a negative inductor offset current takes place at beginning of each conversion period which provides ability to turn converter’s MOSFET switches under zero-voltage and zero (ZVS/ZCS) condition. Time interval between half-bridge needed provide ZVS/ZCS due its antiparallel diode over an current. Described delay time estimation worst case circuit components spread allows calculate proper by Digital Control Unit (DCU).
